Sepia Black White Dark Light Night Day Hazy Clear

All of this can be captured in an instant. Our very being is encapsulated in hundreds of different photographs taken throughout the years. Most happy, some embarrassing and a few sad- all define who we are. They are the pieces to the puzzles of Us.

All willing, share with me some of your favorite moments, people or places. It can be anything from the impersonal and abstract to the personal or simple. Send me a photo that defines You and I shall post it for all to see.

Kinda thought about posting a really maniacal sepia pic of myself, but thought it too scary for the web. Actually, in all honesty I just thought it was naff compared to the ones on your blog. I just ain't got da 'que dos'.

Ah well..... Ra ra Rasputin, lover of the Russian queen!!!

The masses thank you. Actually somewhere in the world, there's a "Thank you JJ for not posting a manical sepia pic of yourself" parade making its way down some random main street, and when you see that parade, know that I personally glued the fringe on the giant rabbit float. To express my thanks. Thank you.

My Father wasn't a very upstanding person, I am glad to say I am in most ways not like him, yet there is one odd similarity between me and him.

That being that throughout his life he never really got his picture taken that much. I still struggle to find pictures of him because there just aren't that many.

I too, have hardly any pictures of myself. Most of my favorite times in life, and worst times, were without the presence of film.

So unfotunately i have no good pictures to share, just because there are so very few of them.

jj- if you can find a picture of you in sepia that is NOT maniacal, i will pay you in PG Tips :)

anony- If you have the precise details as to when this parade would happen can you please forward them to me. I have great love for giant rabbit floats.

dusty- W. Eugene Smith once said The world just does not fit conveniently into the format of a 35mm camera. Maybe you and your experiences are to large for a typical camera. Have you ever considered a wide angle lens? ;)
